The lounge bar was named "The John Batchelor Bar" in memory of former president John Batchelor

John was a long standing member of the club spending many years on the Management Committee and a great supporter of the club.

He was also an R.N.L.I. crew member and Father Christmas locally. He will be sadly missed..
